Overall job definition:

The Nersac Industrial Project Manager has a solid experience and skills in a complex industrial project management (automotive, battery, production system). He’s responsible for equipment industrialization.

He ensures the good execution and management of the project. He structures and manages the project team, he makes the decisions and controls the main KPIs to reach the targets of the project (quality, timing, performances OEE, scrap, and costs). He’s fully accountable about the performances and results of the project, and he communicates to the Excom members of the company.

Main missions:

Define/Establish….

• To define the project scope and establish the business case
• To engage the project at Excom level
• To define the resources needed for the good execution of the project
• To structure the project team and the project organization
• To define the overall schedule target of the project and the main milestones

Build…

• To build the overall project schedule and deliverables
• To build team spirit and project standard agenda
• To make decisions to ensure the results of the project
• To ensure the good execution and organization of the project (equipment and building)

Guarantee…

• To control the KPI dashboard with the operational performance review.
• To control the overall budget of the project (CAPEX and OPEX)
• To define the action plan, the priorities to close the gap and to resolve the issues.
• To control the achievement of the deliverables for each milestone
• To ensure the actions on time

Lead…

• To manage the direct report project team (chief eng, Planning Manager, Cost Manager, Quality Manager, Building Project Manager)
• To manage with R&D team and Industrial team the technical convergence
• To manage the suppliers on the convergence to target (performance, OEE, quality, safety, schedule and cost)
• To manage, orientate the supplier for design process improvement
• To manage the technical convergence
• To manage complex industrial project installation

• To assist the team to solve issues and engage improvements for his field
• To contribute to escalation for the main blocking issues
• To assist Equipment Suppliers during the ramp up of manufacturing plants (Pilot Line)
• To qualify and optimize the processes and equipment for manufacturing

• To make reports and communicate about the status of the project to Excom members

• To make the assessment gate for each supplier’s milestone
• To escalate at the right level the blocking issues

Knowledge:

• Nersac Industrial Project Manager : project management knowledge and know how in leading complex project with equipment installation and building (dry room). Experience to manage the overall project to achieve the targets.

Experience:

• More than 15 years of experience in industrial project management, battery field is a wish but not mandatory.

Qualification:

• Bachelor of Sciences in mechanical, electronical, or electrical
• PMO certification is a wish but not mandatory
